Embracing the principles of slow fashion, we repurpose 90% of our surplus fabric for smaller projects, minimizing waste. Every creation is infused with warmth and care, reflecting our belief in crafting with love and devotion.

Meet the Maker

Hello, wonderful friends! I'm Emily, the founder and creative mind behind Emily Wants Summer.

As a mother to my adorable daughter, Summer, sewing has been my passion for years. From crafting small delights like rattles and scrunchies, my love for creating blossomed when Summer entered my life.

I found myself immersed in stitching delightful bonnets for her, each one filled with love. But as she grew, her bonnet days passed, sparking my desire to share my creations with a wider audience. And so, Emily Wants Summer came to life.

Since our start in 2019, we've expanded from crafting baby bonnets to offering a variety of sun hats for both kids and adults, along with other charming creations.

Our current turnaround time for all made-to-order items is 1-2 weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we craft each piece with care.
Each product includes a simple care guide on its garment tag for your convenience. We highly recommend hand washing or machine washing on a delicate setting. Please refrain from tumble drying and avoid using bleach on colored items to preserve their quality and longevity.
